Terms and Conditions for Singabantu Afrika Fixed LTE Coverage

Welcome to Singabantu Afrika Pty Ltd – Third-Party Fixed LTE Coverage! We're delighted to offer you internet connectivity. Before you begin enjoying our services, please carefully read and understand the following terms and conditions:
 

A) Service Description:
Singabantu Afrika and CSP Connect act as a third-party promoter and seller of internet services and coverage, including Fixed LTE services. We facilitate access to high-speed internet connectivity through LTE technology, providing seamless browsing, streaming, and downloading experiences.

B) Coverage:
Our LTE coverage is subject to network availability in your area. While we strive to provide extensive coverage, service availability may vary based on geographical factors and network congestion.

 

Unlimited Calls Policy

The unlimited calls included in your subscription are strictly limited to local (South Africa) calls only across all South African Networks. This policy excludes international calls, premium-rate numbers, and any other special service numbers. Any calls made outside of the local calling scope will be billed separately according to the applicable rates.

Subscribers are encouraged to use the service responsibly to avoid unexpected charges. For further clarification, please contact our customer service team.
 

C) Equipment:
Singabantu Afrika supplies the LTE device to you under a loan agreement at no monthly charge. However, a Device Deposit of R2199 is required and will be refunded upon receipt of the device in excellent condition. In the event that the device is returned damaged, you will forfeit your deposit. Please ensure that you take proper care of the device to avoid any unnecessary charges.

D) Subscription Plans:
Singabantu Afrika offers various subscription plans tailored to meet your data needs. Each plan comes with specific data allowances and speeds. For detailed information on available plans and pricing, contact our customer service representatives on 087 822 2544 or WhatsApp 065 544 6349.

E) Payment Terms:
Payments for Singabantu Afrika services are due no later than the 1st of every month and must be paid via the PayFast Pay Portal. Any prorata amount will be due immediately. A penalty fee of R79 will be added for late payments, along with applicable interest charges. An Activation Fee of R149 is also required and must be paid along with your first month’s subscription. It is your responsibility to ensure timely payment to avoid additional charges. Failure to make payment may result in suspension of your services. In the event of suspension, you are liable for your monthly premium.

F) Cancellation Policy:
To cancel your Fixed LTE subscription, you must provide two calendar months' notice. During this notice period, you must return the SIM card and LTE device provided by Singabantu Afrika in good working condition, along with the original packaging. Failure to return the device in excellent condition will result in the forfeit of your deposit.

G) Fair Usage Policy (FUP):
Our Fair Usage Policy ensures fair distribution of network resources among users, preventing excessive consumption by a few individuals that may degrade overall network performance. Under the Fair Usage Policy, we may implement traffic management measures to regulate data usage during peak hours or network congestion. Excessive or unreasonable data usage that significantly impacts network performance may lead to throttling or suspension of your service, as determined by Singabantu Afrika or its third-party providers.

H) Acceptable Use:
By subscribing to our Fixed LTE services, you agree to use the service for lawful purposes only. You must not engage in activities that violate any laws, infringe upon others' rights, or disrupt network integrity and security. Singabantu Afrika reserves the right to suspend or terminate your service immediately if any misuse or unauthorized usage of our network is suspected.

I) Waiver of Liability for Singabantu Afrika Pty Ltd:
Singabantu Afrika Pty Ltd acts as a third-party promoter and seller of Singabantu Afrika Fixed LTE Coverage. As such, Singabantu Afrika Pty Ltd waives any liability arising from your use of Singabantu Afrika Fixed LTE services. Any claims, disputes, or issues related to the service should be directed to Singabantu Afrika directly

J) Privacy Policy:
We collect, use, and store your personal information in accordance with applicable data protection laws and our Privacy Policy. By using our Fixed LTE services, you consent to the collection and processing of your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.


K) Limitation of Liability:
While we strive to provide uninterrupted and reliable service, Singabantu Afrika shall not be held liable for any losses, damages, or disruptions arising from network outages, technical issues, or force majeure events beyond our control.


L) Governing Law:
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of South Africa, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.


M) Validity Period:
This agreement is valid for a period of 12 months from the date of subscription, with automatic renewal thereafter. The terms of this agreement, including the cancellation policy, will continue to apply during the renewal period unless terminated by either party in accordance with the cancellation policy outlined herein. Annual increases take place on the activation date of your agreement.

O) Supplier Acceptable Usage Policy (AUP):

  • MTN 30mbps: Once 50GB per month AUP Limit is reached, speed will change to 2Mbps. Speed is dependent on your LTE router capability and available capacity on the LTE tower your device is connected to.

  • MTN 75mbps: Once 150GB AUP Limit is reached, speed will change to 2Mbps. Speed is dependent on your LTE router capability and available capacity on the LTE tower your device is connected to.

  • MTN 100mbps: Once 500GB AUP Limit is reached, speed will change to 2Mbps. Speed is dependent on your LTE router capability and available capacity on the LTE tower your device is connected to.
     

P) Method of Payment:

The subscriber acknowledges and agrees that the subscription fees will be debited from their designated debit card (Via PayFast) on the first date following their salary payment date. The subscriber accepts full liability for any additional fees or charges incurred in connection with the subscription. The onus lies with the subscriber to ensure that their card details are accurate and up to date. Should any changes occur to their card details, including but not limited to card expiry, replacement, or cancellation, it is the subscriber's responsibility to notify the provider promptly to avoid disruption of services or additional charges. If the card payment is unsuccessful, the subscriber agrees to settle their subscription fee via electronic funds transfer (EFT) no later than the 4th day of the calendar month. Subscribers paying via debit card must ensure payment is successfully processed no later than the 2nd day of the calendar month. Failure to settle accounts by the specified dates will result in penalties and interest being applied. Penalties and interest charges will be added to accounts that remain unsettled after the 4th of each calendar month. It remains the subscriber’s responsibility to ensure payments are made on time to avoid additional charges or disruption of service.
