TERMS AND CONDITIONS – Singabantu Afrika (Pty) Ltd Connect Data Contract


General Terms and Conditions


The Mobile Network Suppliers has introduced a Long Term Evolution network which provides customers with high speed data access for smartphones, tablets and modem dongles (the "LTE Service"). Access to the LTE Service is based on the requirements detailed in these Terms and Conditions. It is important that you understand and agree to these terms and conditions All standard Terms and Conditions of the Mobile Network Supplier apply to LTE and this contract is administered by Singabantu Afrika (Pty) Ltd.


  1. You agree and acknowledge that this contract is binding between yourself the Applicant and Singabantu Afrika (Pty) Ltd.
  2. It is important that you understand and agree to these Terms and Conditions in order to make use of the Mobile Network Supplier Contract Data offered through Singabantu Afrika (Pty) Ltd.
  3. You understand that you agree to the Mobile Network Supplier Terms and Conditions and that this contract is between yourself and the reseller agent Singabantu Afrika (Pty) Ltd
  4. All prices and usage rates advertised include VAT, and are billed every month on the date of Activation from your Debit Card or Credit Card.
  5. Failure to make payment will result in termination of the service after which the Sim Card and Device must be returned to Singabantu Afrika (Pty) Ltd undamaged. Service will be terminated after three missed payments. No data will be loaded to your sim card or billed to your account.
  6. Standard RICA rules and processes apply.
  7. You consent to Singabantu Afrika (Pty) Ltd that they may do an ITC inquiry from time to time to ensure the validity of your credit score.
  8. The Singabantu Connect offer is available for a monthly fee, which shall include:
    • a Mobile Network Supplier data enabled SIM card;
    • data which shall be equally allocated every month for on confirmation of payment from PayFast.
    • an LTE Mobile Surf Stick which will enable the use of the service
  9. You understand that this contract is a fixed 6 month agreement between yourself and Singabantu Afrika (PTY) Ltd you and may be cancelled at any time after which you agree to return the undamaged Sim Card and Undamaged Modem to Singabantu Afrika (PTY) Ltd offices in Centurion. Cancellation is subjected to a one calendar month notice which you will be billed for and are afforded the opportunity to make use of your remaining data. 
  10. A cancellation fee of R1500,00 may apply should you wish to terminate withon your contract period.
  11. When you opt to rent our LTE Router/Surfstick (Mobile Hot Spot Device, you have 20 (twenty) days to return the device and simcard to Singabantu Afrika (PTY) Ltd Office, in Centurion, Should the device or sim card be damaged the Cancellation fee will be charged irrespectively and debited from your account.
  12. Singabantu Afrika (Pty) Ltd may amend, modify or otherwise change these terms and conditions in its sole and absolute discretion, on notice to you, and the amended version will be displayed in the same media as these terms and conditions. By continuing to make use of the LTE Service, you agree and understand that you will be bound by the amended terms and conditions.
  13. Neither Singabantu Afrika (Pty) Ltd nor the Mobile Network Supplier, directors, affiliates, members or employees shall not be responsible in any way for claims, loss or damages (either direct, indirect, consequential or otherwise), arising from Customers' use of the LTE Service, or any product purchased by virtue thereof.
  14. Singabantu Afrika (Pty) Ltd has the right to withdraw the LTE Service in its sole and absolute discretion, and will notify customers if it chooses to do so. Customers will not have a claim against neither Singabantu Afrika (Pty) Ltd nor the Mobile Network Supplier in this event.
  15. Neither Singabantu Afrika (Pty) Ltd nor the Mobile Network Supplier will be liable to you, or to any other person, for any damage or loss suffered as a result of use of the LTE Service, and/or if the LTE Service is cancelled, suspended or interrupted for any reason whatsoever.
  16. Your connection speed will depend on the coverage in your area and the network conditions.
  17. You will receive your first pro-rated data allocation as soon as RICA is completed and your line is activated, if Applicable.
  18. The initial pro-rated data allocation will be valid until the end of the calendar month that it was activated in, if applicable.
  19. New monthly data allocation will be loaded on the first day of every month
  20. 19. The monthly data allocation will roll over for a maximum of three months.
  1. Data may not and cannot be transferred from one user to another or converted into Rand value.
  2. Upon expiration there shall be no rollover of unused Data to the following month or year.
  3. Once the included Data value has been depleted, additional data can be ordered from Singabantu Afrika (Pty) Ltd.
  4. The billing increments will be at 1GIG
  5. Singabantu Afrika (Pty) Ltd is bound by all existing Mobile Network Supplier business rules and these same terms and conditions are applied as Addendum.
  6. Any router / dongle supplied by Singabantu Afrika (Pty) Ltd is the property of Singabantu Afrika (Pty) Ltd and loaned to you for the duration of the Singabantu Afrika (Pty) Ltd services.
Payment Procedures:
We make use of on intermediary ie PayFast Payment, which allows us to auto debit your Debit or Credit card for the Monthly Package you have chosen. It is however required that you activate the payment plan by clicking on the link we send to you initiating the 3D Secure OTP from your bank. Please ensure that you keep an eye out for this transaction email. Your Number and Sim Card will not be released if we do not have this confirmation. All payments must be processed no later than the 26th of every month through your Debit or Credit Card. Should you miss any payment at any given time, your account will be suspended. The onus is upon the Account holder to ensure their accounts are always paid. Termination of any account will result in the immediate requirement to return any sim cards and devices. Failure to do so will result in the Holding Deposit to be charged to your account.

Activation Fees:
After the credit vetting process has taken place we will send you one link for the following:

Sim Activation Fee of R20 plus your first month’s data package. The decided data package will be loaded to your sim card before sending to you.

Your Debit Charge activation will be effective on the day after you have activated your Auto Payment.

Singabantu Afrika (Pty) Ltd will send you your Sim Card once we have received your first fees.

Additional to your monthly DATA Package Purchase you will be charged a R15,00 ADMIN FEE
If you miss a payment you will be charged a R50,00 RETURN DEBIT FEE in your next billing cycle.


How to Access the LTE Service

The customer needs to ensure that the following is required for use of the LTE Service:

  1. Ensure the handset is LTE enabled;
  2. A compatible Mobile Network Supplier USIM has been activated on the network
  3. The customer is required to be provisioned for the LTE Service on Mobile Supplier Network;
  4. The customer is required to be within an LTE Service coverage range.


Mobile Network Supplier USIM

The customer is required to have an activated Mobile Network Supplier Usim in order to make use of the LTE Service. The USIM is either Blue or Black. All new devices will receive a re-pluggable SIM that you can use on an enabled LTE device. The USIM is branded with a 128 k marking.


LTE Terms and Conditions

  1. LTE Service speeds will vary from area to area and depending on the number of people connected to the LTE Service at any one particular time. Average download speeds on the LTE Service will be between 10Mbps to 20 Mbps and upload speeds of about 5Mbps to 10 Mbps. To give you an idea of how fast that is, it is about 3 times faster than your current fastest speeds. However, the Mobile Network Suppliers cannot and does not guarantee the speed of the LTE Service at any given time or in any particular area.
  2. The LTE Service is designed for internet usage
  3. The speeds available on the LTE Service are dependent on the LTE coverage areas. Mobile Network uses its best efforts to ensure the speeds are sustainable.
  4. In areas where the LTE Service coverage is not available, an automatic fall back may occur. In this instance, the customer will fall back to the Mobile 3G network. Where there is no 3G network, the customer will fall back to the Mobile 2G network if available.

CashBack World Terms and Conditions

  1. Your Account must be up to date. No CBW Rewards will be paid to you if your account is in arrears
  2. CBW  CashBack will be paid to you on the Nett Invoice before  VAT.
  3. CBW Cashback is calculated on 1% for All Communication Services.
